Parking Woes Solved at OHare
Friday, October 2nd, 2009
If you’ve been traveling for a long time, you have probably learned a very valuable lesson after your first three flights. What is it? Always book a parking space ahead of time. How can you do this? It is so much easier that you think especially if you are looking for OHare parking.
Check airport parking directories and you can easily find a parking space with affordable rates. Before you contact anyone, make sure that you compare prices first. You can also try to negotiate especially if you are thinking of leaving your car long-term. Your best choice would be a space that can provide covered parking off-airport and with shuttle services available so you don’t need to get another car to travel back to the parking garage when you return.
Frustration can all lead you to all sorts of trouble especially when you haven’t gotten inside the plane yet! Do not let parking issues destroy your vacation before you even leave your locale. Getting an OHare parking by using on-airport facilities can be so annoying that you may even be tempted to cancel your flight when the stress level reach the worst. So, free yourself from this unwanted stress and check other options available around the area.
Security is of course a major concern but considering the people and car traffic at airports, it is more than plausible to put your valued vehicle to an off-airport parking lot which can even give you additional services like free valet parking, luggage assistance and discounts.
You don’t need to lose your temper, valuable time and money. Planning ahead is important to get the best deals from these parking services. Some hotels are also offering their lots for parking but this will mean more expensive parking rates.
With enough research and planning, your parking woes are easily resolved.

Helsinki-Vantaa airport. One Finnair plane departing..
I know this may seem crazy, but yes I was in the parking lot at the Randall and Bowes Road in Elgin. I was searching for airplane traffic going into or out of O’Hare International Airportjust outside of Chicago, IL. It was a few minutes before I located (3:50) when I first saw the airplanes again.
