My Best Tips For SFO Parking

If you need to park for less than an hour (two hours at the most) use the short term lots.  The short term and long term lots charge about the same per hour ($5 per hour for the short term, $4 per hour for the long-term).  However the daily rate for the short-term lots is $35 versus $14 for the long-term lots.  The long-term lots also offer free donuts if that is of interest to you.

The shuttes that transport you from the long-term lots to the terminals run often and are very efficient.  There are covered ($13/day) and uncovered ($10/day) lots available.  These lots offer 24-7 security.

Valet parking is convenient and not as expensive as you might think ($35 per day).  Of course you also have to figure in the tip but may be well worth it in the long run.

There are handicapped SFO Parking lots available.  However thes lots charge the same rates as the other lots.

The best tip I can offer however is to pre-book your airport parking.  By pre-booking you will save money, assure that you will have a parking spot, you can find the lot on the map or GPS, and you can plan your time so that you can avoid any undue stress and hassles when traveling.
